THC vs. CBD: What's the Difference and Which One Is Right for You?

It's the question we get most often: what's the difference between THC and CBD?
The short answer: THC is the cannabinoid responsible for the psychoactive high. CBD is non-psychoactive and works differently in the body. But the longer answer is way more interesting — and will help you choose your tincture like a pro.
THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is the primary psychoactive compound in cannabis. It produces euphoric, relaxing, or creative effects and has therapeutic applications including pain relief, sleep support, mood elevation, and more. Our THC tinctures range from 300mg (Drift Away) to 1000mg (Lights Out, Birthday Cake, Wicked Apple) per bottle.
CBD (cannabidiol) is non-psychoactive — it will not get you high. It's associated with calming, anti-inflammatory, and anti-anxiety effects. Our Beauty Sleep (1000mg CBD) and Just Peachy 30:1 are our most CBD-forward tinctures.
30:1 CBD:THC (Just Peachy) — Heavily CBD-dominant. Minimal to no psychoactive effect for most people. Great for daytime calm.
1:1 THC:CBD (Watermelon) — Equal parts. The CBD moderates the THC, creating a balanced, smooth experience. Ideal for social settings or post-workout.
CBN — The sleep cannabinoid. Found in our Tasty Taro (10:8:2 CBN:CBD:THC).
CBG — The focus cannabinoid. Found in our Bright Side tincture alongside CBD and trace THC.
